The Institute of the Little Sisters Disciples of the Lamb, devoted to a life of contemplation, allows young women affected by Down’s Syndrome to fulfill their religious vocation.
The fulfillment of this vocation is only possible because it is supported by able Sisters who have responded to the call of love for others, in dedicating their lives to God with their affected sisters to form one unique community with them.
The community which was founded in 1985 was officially established as a Religious Institute of contemplative life in 1999, by the Archbishop of Bourges, Monsignor Pierre Plateau.
On 15th Décember 2011 : Monsignor MAILLARD, Archbishop of Bourges, officially approved the Constitutions of the Institute of the Little Sisters Disciples of the Lamb.
